Qualified individuals will have
Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related clinical field
Active and unrestricted clinical license in Alabama (LICSW or LPC)

Role Responsibilities
Provide individual, group, and/or family therapy to clients with substance use, co-occurring, and primary mental health conditions

Determine and document appropriate levels of care (including IOP) and develop individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with in-house physicians, psychiatrists, and care coordinators to ensure integrated care
Deliver therapy in both in-person and TeleHealth settings
Prepare for each session by reviewing clinical charts and updating notes post-session
Maintain a caseload of 120–160 patients with a minimum of 25 patient-facing hours per week
Document all clinical interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with regulatory and ethical standards
Support a positive, nonjudgmental environment that encourages open communication and patient engagement
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and maintain compliance with HIPAA and all relevant healthcare regulations
Stay current with emerging best practices in behavioral health and addiction treatment

Counsel patients on wellness, prevention, and treatment options
Collaborate with clinical teams including nurses, psychiatrists, and counselors
Refer patients to appropriate specialists when needed
Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
Comply with all applicable regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to care planning

Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare marketing, outreach, or business development (behavioral health experience preferred)
Proven track record of generating referrals and increasing patient census
Strong interpersonal, communication, and public speaking skills

Conduct in-person outreach visits, presentations, and participate in community events to promote Pathway’s Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Track all referral activities, conversions, and outreach data in CRM or internal systems
Collaborate with intake and clinical teams to ensure smooth and timely patient transitions
Analyze referral network data to identify gaps, trends, and areas of growth
